You are the ethereal ocean taking form as every wave. In other words, you are Ultimate Reality, or God, appearing as all expressions within its own mind.
God is your entire substance, so without any need to reach or attain anything, you already are everything here, beyond, and the basis of all that appears transparent or solid, even subtler and more profound than consciousness itself.
On this blog, we’ll explore these and other ideas with the help of reason, and point to the enlightened nature of what already is.
Descriptions of God
Because all of physicality and the mind exist and interact, they must share a common root. Regardless of whether intermediate layers of reality are as complex as ours, like The Matrix, or if their computation is subtler, that which lies at the root of reality must also be capable of taking form as everything, including the ethereal phenomena known as consciousness. This rootedness and ethereal nature make this ultimate reality worthy of the name “God”....
Mind-Body Connection
Now that we see that both consciousness and physicality (mind / body) are ethereal in nature, what is their relationship? According to some discussions of mind-body dualism, it seems as though mind and matter are radically different kinds of stuff lying as the root of reality. However, due to their ethereal nature, it’s not as though we need to extract water from rocks in order to explain their connection. In order for mind and body to interact, they must be rooted in the same deeper reality, and share a common language....

Physicists generally describe their model of the world in mathematical terms, rather than with stories. Describing behaviors around us with math has allowed very accurate predictions of controlled experiments, which have fostered increasingly complex technology. This then raises the philosophical question of what math really is, and whether this math that we’ve discovered or invented as a species is similar to, or radically different than the math that rules the behavior of our cosmos....
The Basic Nature of Consciousness
As conscious beings, consciousness is our intimate (and only) perspective on any particular view of the cosmos. By understanding the nature of consciousness, and the implications that follow that understanding, our minds open to appreciate the true nature of reality, and what may lie at the root of everything. I do not mean to say that there is a special enlightenment or salvation that’s on offer here. However with some perspective, we can look at life in an interesting way....

I’m not special. Really. I just like to think about the nature of Reality, and perhaps you do too. Because I have not achieved any special attainment or loss of ego, my approach to thinking about Non-dualism, Buddhism and modern thought isn’t so much aimed at trying to wake up, but deals more with the philosophy of these systems.
